Sigiriya is a must-see destination in Sri Lanka. Learning more about the lodge will take you to Sigiriya where you can enjoy an incredible Jeep safari within Minneriya National Park. It’s one of the best places to see wild elephants because you can usually see them in large groups there. Visit the Polonnaruwa historic ruins! On Day 4 we will visit the Hiriwaduna Village which features rural vegetable farms traditional village homes and paddy fields. To cap off Day 4 an Ayurvedic spa treatment is scheduled!
You will proceed to Kandy after seeing the well-known Dambulla Cave Temple also known as the Golden Temple. In addition to touring the Temple of Tooth Relic and the Royal Botanical Gardens which are home to over 4000 distinct plant species. Additionally, you can breathe in Matale Spice Gardens’ alluring aromas. Your trip will come to an end on the sixth day with a workshop a trip to the Gem Museum and a stroll through the Botanical Gardens.
You’ll have an incredible trip to Nuwara Eliya also known as Little England on Days 7 and 8. While traveling you will see the famous Ramboda Falls where water cascades between two levels of rock. After touring the beautiful tea plantations and visiting a tea factory you’ll get an up-close and personal look at the process of making tea. Then enjoy a wonderful high tea at the elegant Grand Hotel before strolling around the Moon plains in the cold misty atmosphere. A tour of Nuwara Eliya City will round off your day. You’ll be greeted by the city’s cool climate!
From Nanu Oya to Ella, take an incredible train ride through stunning countryside. The first half of your eventful day in Ella will be a trek up Little Adams Peak, which offers beautiful vistas along the way. You’ll next go to the Ravana Waterfall before finishing the day with a superb cookery session! The first stop is Lipton’s Seat and the well-known Nine Arches Bridge, both of which are great places to capture unforgettable photos!
Yala has been officially recognized as a wildlife sanctuary and is well known for its wide variety of fauna. You will travel to Yala National Park on an exciting safari in a safari Jeep. When you see a variety of animals on your safari like stunning sloth bears elephants and leopards you can be sure of an amazing wildlife experience.
Visit Galle’s Dutch Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site erected by the Portuguese. Furthermore, the Turtle Hatchery will be open to visitors, allowing them to see turtles and photograph them with their cameras. Nothing beats taking a beautiful Madhu River boat tour and posing for selfies with stilt fishermen.
